Building The Big House will cost money, quite a lot of it. On the one hand we will need a house, a property to develop into a suitable residential centre (click here to read more about this). But we will also have salaries, bills to pay, and more! We estimate that it will cost around £2 million to purchase and develop a property and an additional £200,000 each year to run it.

Whilst we're looking for sources of funding for these large capital costs, there are also costs involved in the current research phase of the project. It's not all diesel and coffee, but even small costs very quickly add up.

So, if you know of a potential source of capital funds we would love to hear from you, please get in touch. But if that's not you, and you would like to do something very practical to help the development of The Big House, then perhaps you could support us financially with a donation or even regular donations. A Standing Order is easy to set up and even a relatively small amount, given every month, adds up to make a big difference. Whether you give regularly or not you can increase the value of your gift by a significant 28% if you are a UK taxpayer through the Gift Aid scheme. Simply fill in the Gift Aid Declaration form and post it to us with your Standing Order form or gift. I'm afraid we need your signature on the forms, so completing them online isn't possible at present.
