When life feels full-on or overwhelming, it can be difficult for us to feel in control. During these times, you may find it helpful to make space in your physical surroundings and in your mind.

When life feels full-on, take back some control and organise your space.

Organising/ cleaning/personalising your bedroom, homework area, or wherever you might call “your own” and making it a nicer place to spend time in can help when life feels a bit chaotic.

There are also times in life when we need to make space in our minds. Writing to-do lists enables us to prioritise our tasks and helps us to take each thought or job one step at a time. Grab a pen and paper and write down your to-do list starting with the most urgent. You will gain a sense of achievement along the way as you tick each one when it has been completed.

The Bible tells us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).
