We want all young people to know that there is no difficult day, no dark experience that God cannot bring hope and life into!

UPDATE - We're Still Listening!

For as long as schools are closed, The Listening Space will be offering something a little different to our normal face-to-face counselling service.

SHAKEN was developed in partnership with Connor Diocese and funded by the Church of Ireland Priorities Fund.

We all feel shaken sometimes. Sometimes difficult things happen and we don’t know what to do, or how we feel.

SHAKEN is a resource is designed to help you make good choices to live well when life shakes you.

We will be posting 20 healthy coping mechanisms from SHAKEN, two each week, on social media and here on our blog.
Try them all and discover which ones work best for you!

Coping Mechanisms are things we do to try and deal with our feelings, some are healthy and others can be unhealthy.

We have had to make a few changes to our programme work (follow “read more” link below) but we are still passionate about helping young people discover the presence of Jesus – his love with them in the midst of their normal, and stormy days.

Our Mission

The Big House exists to help young people know
God’s love as they encounter Jesus and are cared
