Big House Camps are …

It’s really important that camp is enjoyable, so we have lots of different activities: creative, sporty, chilled, adventurous, whacky, indoors and outside. There’s something for everyone!

Whether you come on your own, with a leader or a group we have lots of leaders at camp to make sure you’re not on your own and to help everyone get to know each other. By the end, you won’t believe you only met them a few days ago!

Our prayer for each of our camps is that all the young people will encounter Jesus there, in the people, in the place and in the programme.

It is in meeting Jesus that lives are changed, that true hope, love, strength and acceptance are found.

Our camps are safe places to be yourself, to be honest, be listened to and accepted. Our leaders are friendly, well-trained and there to look out for you.

Big House camps are open to young people regardless of their beliefs or background. We try to keep the cost low and to tailor our programmes to meet additional needs or health issues.

more than a weekend

Residentials are most effective as part of ongoing, local, relational youth work. So we encourage youth leaders to come with young people from their group, participate alongside them, and receive support themselves.
